San Francisco, CA – December 8, 2020 – Corcoran Global will continue to partner with the San Francisco/Marin Food Bank and the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program this holiday season. Participation is extremely important this year in light of both the pandemic and the economic situations. The programs will be administered a bit differently, however, because of those considerations.

Due to Covid-19, there are no toy collection bins this year, but everyone is encouraged to donate a new toy online at SF Firefighters’ Virtual Giving website.  At the conclusion of the drive, all toys will be shipped to the SF Firefighters for distribution to local children. Toys are requested for infants through 12 years of age. Online prices include shipping and handling, and a tax receipt will be provided at the time of purchase. Toys can also be dropped off at any of the 51 SF Fire Station locations.

When purchasing from Amazon or other online outlets, please have the toys delivered to SF Firefighters Toy Program, 2225 Jerrold Avenue, San Francisco, CA  94124.

The San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program began in 1949, and is now the largest firefighter-driven toy give-away effort in the country. This program annually provides hundreds of thousands of toys to hundreds of thousands of children, during the holidays and throughout the year.

The San Francisco/Marin Food Bank is in need of online monetary donations as well. Each $1 donated provides two meals for our neighbors in need. Over 30,000 families are fed annually in the Bay Area from nearly 300 pantries, and 60 percent of the food is fresh produce. The Food Bank delivers thousands of pounds of food every week, and the need is huge during November and December.
