San Francisco – August 27, 2021 – The North Bay Business Journal recently revealed this year’s Best Places to Work Awards. Corcoran Global Living’s Napa/Sonoma/Marin regions joined those esteemed companies earning a place on that list.

Winners represent a cross section of various industries, services and non-profits throughout the North Bay, and are recognized for their support to their greatest asset – their employees. Thousands of employee surveys are submitted and reviewed, and the level of participation is an indicator of staff engagement and morale during this incredibly unprecedented time.

This is the sixteenth year of the Journal’s survey and ultimate list, and the degree of involvement certainly played a part in the list’s creation. Having begun in 2006, that first list named 24 winners. This year, the list topped 100, indicating a growing awareness of employee satisfaction as a direct correlation to a successful operation.

The surveys have underscored the importance of the award, but more significant is the long-term value of the anonymous feedback from the employees to their employers. This information is beneficial in highlighting where companies excel as well as areas that may need improvement, a valuable tool for attracting the best of the best and then retaining them.

“What an honor it is to receive this award for doing what we love,” commented Betsy Serafini, Vice President of Sales for Sonoma, Napa and Humboldt Counties. “We have a very strong team here with an exceptional grasp of the business and the area, but, more importantly, a camaraderie and respect for our co-workers, our clients, our colleagues and community connections.” Corcoran Global Living’s Napa/Sonoma/Marin offices may be reached at 800.681.1361.

Award winners will be recognized at a special event on Wednesday, September 15, at 4 p.m. at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa. Co-hosted by Exchange Bank, sponsors include Kaiser Permanente and the Troup Group. Winners will also be profiled in the September 30 edition of the North Bay Business Journal.
